On Wednesday 23rd October, vintage fanatics will gather in the hundreds to the city’s most glamorous event of the year! Manchester Vintage Awards is returning to a newly renovated venue, Manchester 235, where eager independent businesses will wait in anticipation to find out who will be crowned the Vintage winners for 2013!
From the 2000 plus nominations that were received by event organiser ‘VintageManchester.com’, thirty triumphant businesses have succeeded in making the finals for the 10 ‘Best Of’ vintage categories.
This year has seen exciting new inclusions for vintage businesses such as traditional barbers Gladstone Grooming who have made the final 3 for ‘Best Vintage Hair and Make-Up’ and also burlesque performer Bexi Owen who is up for nomination for ‘Best Vintage Entertainer’. Winners of ‘Best Vintage Market 2012’,Vintage Village have once again succeeded in making the finals for 2013, as have winners of ‘Best Vintage Event Styling’ For The Love of Vintage and ‘Best Vintage Tearoom’, Sugar Junction.
The ‘Sixties Las Vegas’ themed event looks set to be a show-stopping experience with confirmed vintage acts such as burlesque entertainer ‘Ginger La Rouge’ who will be bubbling hot with her infamous champagne glass act! Vintage style starlet Suzie Sequin is returning to the awards to perform her special ‘Viva Las Vegas’ act, expect anything but the original version! A wonderful new addition to this year’s awards is ‘The Drinks Enthusiast’ who will be sharing his boozy brilliance with our alcohol sponsor, Italian aperitif, Sprizatto! Hosting the event once again is the insatiable Miss Kiki deVille who will also be showcasing her renowned bluesy vocals during an exclusive Live performance.
Drawing on the success of the Manchester Vintage Awards 2012, event organiser Susan Earlam of VintageManchester.com commented:

With just under a month to go until the winners are crowned, vintage supporters can still continue to vote for the finalists, like over 2300 voters have done so, until the end of September.
